Miami Ad School is the place to go if you want to work in an advertising agency. They offer a 2-year portfolio program for creatives (art directors and copywriters) as well 12-week bootcamps for strategists (social media or account planning). There is a network of MAS schools all over the world, each of them their own unique little think tank.
After teaching the 10-week Social Media course for the creatives for a few terms, I was asked to step in and oversee the Social Media Bootcamp in 2016, becoming a link between the agencies and school culture. After a successful run, I was asked to direct the 2017 Account Planning Bootcamp and guest lecture at other MAS locations.
